![]() I've had all 7 versions of Titler Pro and fully appreciate the excellent titles that it can produce, but it has been let down by many techy problems over the years - probably from TP4 onwards. But again, NewBlueFX has mostly but not completely fixed those problems. if you do a forum search using 'Titler Pro 7' as keywords, you'll find a lot of comments about the earlier builds of TP7 over the last few months. Previous versions of TP did not have this lag problem at. The latest build of TP7 is greatly improved but still suffers from a bit of lag within Vegas Pro. The TP7 standalone however was not a problem - but then there is no background image to design the title over if that design requirement was necessary. Until the latest build of TP7, TP7 was virtually unusable within Vegas Pro because positioning titles over the background image was not even close to real-time and suffered from huge time lag or having to click on the TP7 window in order to get the repositioning to update in Vegas Pro. I say 'fundamentally' because, although you can get amazing results, in many ways it's extremely frustrating to use Titler Pro 7 is fundamentally a brilliant plug-in. ![]() Take a look at my TP7 tutorials on YouTube (my channel name is Veteran Video Editor) to get an idea of its potential. It's not possible to detail all the benefits of TP7 here. You can also share designs between titles so that a change in the design of one title automatically updates the design of other titles that are shared. The learning curve is quite steep (I've produced a number of tutorials about TP7 on YouTube, but most of them are for old builds), but as I have said, the results are well worth the effort.Īs a plug-in you can create many titles or lower thirds on your VP timeline. Usage:- It has its own entry in the Media Generator tab and has only a default preset. It didn't used to be, but there have been so many builds of TP7, each build introducing more inconsistencies, that it's quite challenging to use. One significant overarching theme in Colón's music, which draws from many cultures and several different styles, is an exploration of the competing associations that Puerto Ricans have with their home and with the United States. On his website, Colón claims to hold the "all time record for sales in the Salsa genre, created 40 productions that have sold more than thirty million records worldwide." He went on to have many successful collaborations with other salsa musicians and singers, such as Ismael Miranda, Celia Cruz, Soledad Bravo, and singer-songwriter Rubén Blades. ![]() The lyrics and music of the songs on this album "enact the diaspora addressing the island culture in a complex, loving but at the same time mildly challenging way." On July 12, 2018, Willie Colón became the first Latin artist to perform at Paris' Bataclan theater after the 2015 terrorist attack. "His life and music commute back and forth between his home turf in the Bronx and his ancestral Puerto Rico, with more than casual stop-offs in other musical zones of the Caribbean." Colón "makes the relation between diaspora and Caribbean homeland the central theme of his work," particularly in his 1971 Christmas album, Asalto Navideño. Combining elements of jazz, rock, and salsa, his work incorporates the rhythms of traditional music from African descendants in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Brazil, representing mostly a one-way flow from Puerto Rico to the New York-based diaspora. Music career īeyond the trombone, he has also worked as a composer, arranger, and singer, and eventually as a producer and director. In 1995, Colón became the first person of color to serve on the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) national board, replacing Stephen Sondheim, and was also a member of the ASCAP Foundation. He has served as a member of the Latino Commission on AIDS and President of the Arthur Schomburg Coalition for a Better New York, member of the board of directors of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. He has also acted in films, including roles in Vigilante (1983), The Last Fight (1983), Miami Vice (in the season 3 episode "Cuba Libre") (1987) and It Could Happen to You (1994).Ĭolón has been a civil rights, community, and political activist since the age of 16. He picked up the trumpet from a young age, and later switched to trombone, inspired by the all-trombone sound of Mon Rivera and Barry Rogers. Early years Ĭolón was born in the South Bronx in New York City to Puerto Rican parents. Since the 1980s he has at times been deeply involved in the politics of New York City. He is also noteworthy for having assumed the gangster image in his album covers before it was culturally popular. Colón is considered a pioneer of Salsa music and a best-selling artist in the genre, having been a key figure in the nascent New York City scene associated with the legendary Fania Records. ![]() What I like about the Rab Neutrino Enduranceįit: I have rarely found a down jacket that fits so well. This jacket is great for all kinds of outings, from walking in the mountains to skiing in the Alps. Our Hydrophobic Down treatment is unique to Rab and fluorocarbon- free. With these only a small percentage of the proofer reaches the down as the outer and inner fabrics act as a barrier. Duck and goose produce down with different characteristics and each grade of down required a separate formula.īecause our Hydrophobic Down treatment is applied to the raw down at source it is far more effective and durable than DIY down-proofing products. It also speeds up drying times when damp and will withstand repeated washing.ĭeveloping our Hydrophobic Down was a complex process. Our Hydrophobic Down treatment now ensures that our down absorbs substantially less water, so retaining more loft and warmth. We worked closely with a company with decades of experience in proofing technologies to develop unique treatments that make our down fully water-resistant. Perhaps because we only use very high quality down, sourced, processed and accredited in Europe.īut we weren’t content to leave it there. When we started we found that our raw down was actually quite hard to wet. “We guard against this by protecting our down beneath very tight weave and coated fabrics treated with robust DWR finishes, but for a while now we’ve been working on protecting the down itself. However, I really like you idea of "resource", that's also why I make my uniform as "pack", so they could be used by other mods. Maybe one day I'd think it's worth a try. And I don't have time to "waste" trying to part uniform from NTW to Shogun, while I still have my NTW mod to finish.īut well, if you can really make nice maps. It would work well because their would be a solid base resource to start with. Suppose NTW allowed making new maps: making different maps as resource, to create different campaigns (in Britain, Campaign of Russia, War of 1812) would then be a very good idea: you could make maps, I'd make some faction / uniforms, someone could make the scenarios. So if I wanted to port my mod to it, I would need to redo everything: units, buildings, ships. For example, I'm not sure I could take an Napoleonic grenadier, and have it work in Shogun quickly The problem is you are basing it on Shogun, which is well, centered on Japan, and it not compatible "quickly" with NTW I think. Honnestly? Not really, because we are lacking some base. Build a hub of modders resources to make the process of modding quicker and easier for everyone to make much more comprehensive mods.ĭo you think an idea like that would work or be popular? The point of the community though is that if I made the European map, and you made factions for it, you could upload the factions to the community and I could use some of them for the Britain and France map. If people were making suggestions of which kind of map they wanted to see, after the European map I could make another one (presumably by that point I would be more skilled at it and hopefully help train other people). And then go on to make other maps (such as the larger map of Europe that you shared). The point I am kind of making though is that once I had produced my map of Britain and France, I would upload it to the resources section. I know what you mean and I like the map you have planned.įor the preference of my mod I would want the scale to be much larger, so a massive map of the British Isles and France would be more appealing to me. ![]() These are just my opinions and I know people may disagree but I think it would make a much more realistic, challenging and fun game. It shouldn't be so easy to capture the whole of England in one swoop!ĬA sometimes do come out with smaller maps such as Caesar in Gaul but the next NTW2 or ETW2 will be made to sell to as many people as possible and not made to a more realistic scale. To fix this, the campaign map needs to be much smaller (The British Isles and France could be one map for example). It would also make it more fun for the player as they have much more of a challenge. This way a smaller army could cause a bigger army great problems moving from one place to another (much more realistic). What should happen, is an army should have many obstacles (which valley to go down, more bridges to cross, the list goes on and on). ![]() An army can, for example, march from Edinburgh to London with the only obstacle being an army sat in the open and then a battle ensues. The main reason I think the campaign map needs modded is because in TW they have lost any real geo-strategic importance. And then waiting on it to have a good start as well! I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for ETW2/NTW2. ![]() By this point, you should have a solid understanding of the annual strategy, and how your team is adding to it.
